19th Century English Oak Dresser Base

Found in England, this circa 1860s oak chest has 6 drawers and 2 cabinets with brass hardware. This piece was originally the base and would have had an additional, taller cabinet that sat on top. Beautifully constructed with nicely figured oak, dovetailed drawers, decorative inlay at the shoulders and pillar details on the front sides. Versatile size and functionality. Unknown maker.
