Alvino Bagni for Bitossi of Italy Sea Garden Series Ash Tray

Circa 1960s ceramic ash tray designed by Alvino Bagni as part of his Sea Garden series for Bitossi of Italy. Glaze is a mottled mix of blue, green, turquoise, brown and gold. Ashtray has an open-work, battlement-style border at top and a band of knobs around the widest part of the vessel. Very good vintage condition with no flaws found.

Underside of base has “Italy” impressed on unglazed part of rim.
