Circa 1900 Louis XVI style commode of ebonised mahogany with brass mounts and white marble top. Commode has a narrow locking top drawer with decorative brass mounts and two larger drawers below that lock with a skeleton key. Brass trim on drawer fronts and front legs and feet. Marble top has beveled edge on sides and front. Brass ring pull drawer hardware and decorative escutcheons have a draped ribbon motif. Unknown maker. Very good overall antique condition with minor scattered surface wear to wood and marble.
