Pair circa 1960s reclining armchairs in style of Marco Zanuso by Italian maker Dormiveglia Brevettatata. Chairs have black metal tubular frames and legs with high backs, curvy rounded arms and reclining seats. Recliner mechanism is weight/pressure activated, i.e. there is no lever or button to recline, rather, there must be a person in the chair leaning back in order to activate the recline feature and the chairs do not remain in the recline position if there isn’t anyone’s in the chair. The recline options activate easily and smoothly and the chairs are very sturdy. Both have been newly upholstered in a commercial grade slubby dark olive fabric. Seats are 16.5” high and 22” deep. Sold and priced as a pair.
