Early 19th century Venetian wood console with carved and gilded lion’s paw feet, reeded supports and original paint. Top is marble with deep brown and gray/green and streaks of white. The long white looking marks on the top are color streaks in the marble, not scratches. The top does have some surface scratches and a nicked edge at the back, but nothing that detracts from the presentation of the piece. Original paint shows scattered loss and wear.
