Vintage Italian Vivai Del Sud Pencil Reed Chair With Ottoman

Found in Italy, this chair and ottoman by Viva Del Sud dates from about 1970. The chair and ottoman both have a lightweight wood base and are covered in strands of thin, pencil-reed which provides great texture and variegated color. The chair is quite comfortable even without a cushion and lends a casual chic, bohemian vibe to a screened patio, covered porch or vacation home. Not recommended for use as outdoor garden furniture exposed to the elements. Sold and priced as a two-piece set.
